Filimone Pambana
Coffee Farmer – Age 31
Our Coffee farmer, Filimone Pambana, is a single father to three children who are still in school. Filimone has always farmed around the Vumba Mountain in the Manica Province, working with the local cash crops, and in January of 2021, he added coffee to his land, too. Because of his good agricultural practices, Café Vumba rewarded him with sustainable coffee farming lessons, which we aim to produce healthier coffee beans with better crop management. And since being awarded, Filimone added coffee to his 1-hectare plot where he could plant 2150 Coffee Trees.
